Relight Version 1100

V1.1 Is now standalone! Can now be placed inside your mod folder to be enabled in the ingame mod menu.

Changes:
-Refreshed the cubemaps to be a bit more accurate with more transitions between them.
-Added moonlight shadows back (Couldn't originally have them without breaking relights sunrise/sunsets
-Minor adjustments to sun and moon brightness/sizes
-Fixed color correction error, now includes dummy color correction (I don't like color correction, I don't want to warp or crush the colors)
-Relight is now standalone, can be placed in mod folder and enabled ingame.

hi looks very cool but it doesn't give way to mulitiplayer server. :D

Everybody on the server needs to use the same version of the mod for multiplayer to work.

New Moon mod causes an error if you try adjusting darkness settings, it will stay light all night long, make it so you can't save, and throw your controls all out of whack. Just disable it and it works great!!

There's a mod called new moon? Or do you mean relights moon?

Theres a New Moon mod, it allows you to adjust the darkness at night/eliminate how bright the light is from the moon.  It's on the official Modhub

Hey Suchsneak, first of all I want to thank you for the work you are doing with the mod. Unfortunately, I found an error with the standalone in connection with the "ProShot" mod. I get the following error message when I adjust the shadow with ProShot >

2022-09-24 23:35 Error: Running LUA method 'update'. dataS/scripts/environment/Lighting.lua(239) : attempt to get length of field 'envMapTimes' (a nil value)

It's unlikely I'll be able to implement a fix for this as relight uses about 6-9 sets of cubemaps vs about 15-30 sets of vanilla cubemaps all at different intervals. So when proshot tries to select a cube map at for example 2pm there is nothing in Relights lookup table to load.

Well, if proshot was able to reference relights mod files and look up the right cubemap times then it would work. You'd have to ask the author of proshot if their interested in making a relight compatible version

I found a other way to fix the Problem. I take the colorgrading and enviroment from the Standalone and put them into the Map and all work fine without any error.

oh right, that didn't even cross my mind. Glad you figured it out!

i was using youre test branch version at first. and now i saw youre standalone version was done, and dicided to try that one. but i dont seem to get a ingame menue for the mod. i noticed it does not work with additional game settings mod. so i deleted that from my modfolder, and cleaned my chader cache and log. but again i did not seem to get a menue ingame. deleted more script mods like, combine experience, courseplay, dustylands mods. but still no succes on the stand alone.... do you have anny tips i could try?  (oh  and the log is clean, no error's or warnings)

I will try to help you fix your issue soon, I'll do some testing. Could you take a screenshot of your mod folder

i put back in those mods i took out earlier tough. exept for addition game settings. that one gives a error, so the standalone mods doesn't open on savegame start up.

I don't see any obvious issues. It might just be a painful process of keeping relight, then adding in 5 mods at a time, loading, seeing if crashes or not, and keep going until you find the conflict. Maybe one of those mods alters one of the same files relight does but I can't tell for sure. If you find the conflict in question there's a possibility a fix could be implemented, workaround, but you might just have to make a choice which mod to use if the conflict is too great.

yeah. I will try the script mods first then. But will do it tomorrow. Its bed time for me now, i will let you know if i find what mod is the issue.

wait, maybe i undestood it wrong. i am looking for a relight option in the ingame "esc" menue, or when the stand alone is in youre modfolder. and you start the game with the mod enabled, its allready working?  i tought it would create a ESC meneu where you can switch it on or off?
